The Kingdom of Heaven is powerful. It doesn’t take much to make a difference. Little acts can be used by God in amazing ways. It’s like yeast in bread making. It only takes a small amount of yeast to permeate every part of the dough. Small things grow to have great impact—that is when God is involved. God’s work is often subtle. Changes aren’t always visible right away but there will be a difference. If a lump of dough can turn into fresh, warm, fluffy bread, then people can change too.

Hi Jenni. I didn't know you had a blog. (this is Laurie Reyes) I just subscribed via google reader. Thanks for the encouraging post. I'm so impatient about everything. I tend to want big dramatic moments of change rather than incremental change in the context of the ordinary moments of life, so this is a good reminder for me.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Laurie!!
